Their customer service has gone down, the quality of technicians has gone down, and the price for services has gone up from my experience.
I have been a customer of John Moore Services since 2010. I had my home repiped with them, had a new water heater installed with them, had new shower fixtures installed with them, had countless calls for drain clog repairs with them, and any plumbing problem we had we would only call them. The way I was treated this last time, I will never use John Moore Services again. Lied to by two different technicians, wasted time off of work and waiting b/c the first technician could not solve the problem, treated horribly by the customer service rep who I called to speak to about my problems, and when I finally asked to speak to a plumbing manager, the lovely dispatch person (who was the only one who gave me an apology for the whole thing) told me that the plumbing manager would personally give me a call.
Nope, he didn t. He had the customer service rep who treated me horribly to call back and give me a refund of $100 on the $200 they charged me hoping I d go away. Oh and the fist technician quoted me $99 and the 2nd technician quoted me $220 even though they used the same machine. They didn t solve the problem and told me I had to do hydrojet b/c too much grease. I went out bought a $17, 25 feet snake auger with rotating drum on back off of Amazon and had the clog cleared in under an hour. Never again will I use or refer them ever again on any of their services.

I have been using John Moore Services for years now. Over the years, they have gotten better and better. They give free estimates which is a big plus in my book. They also give you a good solution, better solution, and a best solution if able to, depending on your needs and financial situation. They are very well managed from the top down. No company is perfect and I have had a few complaints here and there where somethings weren't up my expectations, but they have always addressed my concerns, fixed it, and made me happy in the end. Ask for a technician named Derick M. (my most recent technician). He listens to you all your concerns, will do whatever he can to address any you might have, and will make sure to stay extra if need be to make sure everything is done correctly.
