I tried to book online using the hotel website and...

I tried to book online using the hotel website and I kept getting a message that I need to enter a correct email. After 3 tries I called the hotel direct and was told I would have to keep trying because they did not have the same price as their website. They wanted to charge me $31 more for the same room. I asked for them to honor the price quoted on their website and they said they couldn't. I asked to speak to the manager and was told the same thing. After a half on the phone with 2 people that refused to help me, I was transferred to the manager's (Pam) VM. Nice.... I went back to the website and figured out what the problem was. In the section marked mobile phone you have to enter an email address. Go figure! Their web master needs some direction on how to code those fields. Most regular human beings would enter a phone number where the box asks for a mobile number. To be told to keep trying instead offering me assistance was very frustrating. I was so disappointed by the customer service I received and the amount of time spent on the phone that resulted in zero reservations. Not a good first impression. :(
