Location wise it's great, being mid-way down the beach in Jimbaran, surrounded by the warungs and fish restaurants, with a great sunset view. The garden is really beautiful and well maintained, as is the exterior of the hotel and the chalets. Inside however they are dated (not in a charming way) and in need of some investment. There was an old packet of chocolate biscuits and some (clean) bandages in our room, so housekeeping is a bit hit and miss. The main negative for me is the beach/bar area which is lacking any character or "vibe". We weren't looking for a party by any means, but there was no life, no music of any kind and the selection of drinks was weak and overpriced. Food was OK, and breakfast was pretty good. For a chilled couple in their early 30s we found it stale and dull, but there were elderly couples and families there who might have found it enjoyable...
