This review is specifically for the H10 Ocean Maya...

This review is specifically for the H10 Ocean Maya Royal resort "professional" photography department. I want to make sure that all future guests are aware of their unethical and poor business practice.

I was a guest of the resort and was approached by the photography department. We had made arrangements to set up a family photography session. I ended up purchasing the photos that were taken and planned to give the photos as a birthday present to my mother. I was given a USB drive and was told that the photos would be on the USB drive.

When I arrived back home, I found that the USB drive was empty. Zero photos found. I was unable to confirm the contents of the USB drive while in Mexico because I did not have a computer.

I ended up having to go empty handed to my mother's birthday party because I was ripped off by the Ocean Maya Royal photography department.

I tried calling to get my money back but was brushed off and was not given a refund (Employees speak LIMITED English which made things much harder). I strongly believe that I deserve a refund because I was not given the product which was promised to me.

I disputed the charge with my credit card company. This resort is very familiar with how to rip off tourist and get away from it. They did not give me any kind of receipt (now I know to NEVER trust these types of places). They knew exactly what documentation "that I signed" to cover themselves. I was denied the dispute. I ended up losing hundreds of dollars and worst of all had no birthday present for my mother.

I am writing this so other tourists are not naive when dealing with this company. They know exactly what to do in order to get your money. I would recommend staying away at all costs.
