Very convenient, and a nice asset for the community.

We're members mainly to take advantage of the kids programming and the summer swimming area.

They have a great variety of classes for young kids; mine have taken swimming, soccer, gymnastics, rock climbing, and sampler classes. They like coming. It's not as crisp as a dedicated facility but it costs less and they have learned at their classes. Class sessions run for 8 weeks during the school year so you can change it up a bit if the kids decide they don't like something. On the flip side it feels like you're always registering for something. Prices usually work out to $10-15 per session (plus the membership fee) which is very low for the area.

There's a very good selection of adult classes for full members, at all hours of the day. The Y also hosts community events all year round. We've stopped by for open gym and free swimming during the winter.

The gym equipment seems a bit dated but kinda... Who cares? It's still a YMCA - a very good one. It gets a lot of traffic. The locker rooms aren't as nice as an Equinox. On some level you get what you pay for, but there is always something fun to do here.
