Wizz Air offers a bare bones service, which to the frequent flyer between England and a Eastern European country is ideal.

If you're able to book far in advance enough there are some excellent deals to be had. It can be annoying though when you see your basic price inflated by adding normal size cabin luggage and the ever present administration charge.

Be that as it may, I have never had an issue with Wizz Air's airplanes, flight crew, website or basic onboard service.

If you have a query, a complaint or an issue that requires human interaction or a quick resolution (before you fly) than the basic service will be a disappointing experience.

Mainly because of the premium (high cost per minute) telephone number, but also because it takes a long time for anything to happen like: a 20 minute wait to speak to an call center representative and a minimum of 30 days for a response to a complaint. A complaint might just be anything that that the call center representative cannot resolve.

In conclusion, as long as you're happy with the basic service Wizz Air is fine to deal with. A godsend for some.

However, whenever you have an issue that requires a first class service or a quick human response you'll be disappointed by their slow performance in this area.
