It seems Christopher Community has a monopoly on the low rent housing and Section 8 Housing in Onondaga County. My personal experience with CC was very disappointing. They are "Perfect World People" and have no compassion for the poor, sick and homeless or their families. Very political, very powerful, bad business. Now more of the same but worse, putting a 70 year old man out in the cold with no provision for shelter in the middle of the worst winter we have seen in decades. Syracuse is littered with camps of homeless people. Christopher Community is the reason why this has happened.
Landlords don't stand a chance with an organization such as this in their community.
Christopher Community is not exactly a model community. It is a self serving monopoly and has no business addressing low income housing or or other public interests.
