Laura Whitkofski Review of Coca-Cola

Go during off-peak hours, and/or buy your tickets online. We could only go at 3:00 on a Saturday at the height of crowd size. The $10 parking garage was full, but we found free parking in a neighborhood (near McAfee) within a few extra minutes' walk.
There are two lines when you arrive: one for buying tickets, and one for waiting to enter as a group. There were hundreds in line. With prepaid tickets, we were able to move inside within 15 minutes. Can't overstate how happy we were to have bought the tickets via the mobile site. The staff was helpful and friendly. We met an employee named Tasia (sp?) who helped us make a tactical plan based on our limited time.
The WOC was really crowded, but the taste testing room was worth the trip. There are islands of dispensing machines roughly sorted by continent. There were teens laughing uncontrollably about the drink from Italy that tasted "like a cigarette." We tried dozens of varieties of soda by limiting ourselves to a tiny sip of each.
We exited the WOC to the gift shop (no re-entry). There's a wide variety of items in the gift shop. We bought a $2 surprise bag and it contained a lanyard and a pencil pouch.
As long as you adjust expectations for the crowd size, you can enjoy the World of Coke.
