Started out as a good thing. They helped our company with collecting a debt, they sent a final invoice about a week after the services were rendered which were deducted from our retainer. At that point everything was finalized and they sent a statement showing we still had a positive retainer balance. The next month we were sent a statement showing the retainer balance and it showed our retainer balance was gone and a balance we were owing of over $700. The new invoice showed the same services already paid for using the retainer plus additional fees that were unmentioned when this was finalized. Unfortunately this firm takes advantage of the client after the retainer is gone and they send additional bills for services they never rendered. We sent the firm an email a few months ago asking for an explanation as to what we were being double billed for and was told they would look into it and get back with us. We still have not heard back, BUT we did receive another falsified invoice
