Customer Service is only amazing IF YOU ARE WILLIN...

Customer Service is only amazing IF YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT THEIR NOT HELPING YOU AS THE CUSTOMER! I had one supervisor that only wanted to say sorry when I was lied to when told I had to wait 24-48 hours to talk to a supervisor by having one call me back only to have no one still having had called 5 DAYS LATER! She did not want to answer WHY no supervisor had called. Only saying sorry goes back to IPL HAVING NO REAL CARE FOR ITS CUSTOMERS! When transferred to an even higher supervisor (supposedly, who really knows) she hung up on me because I refused to let her hide behind IPL as a corporate identity (meaning machines and computers don t make company decisions, PEOPLE DO). Her name is KATHY and she personally refused to answer questions I asked her pertaining to IPL s not answer questions directly instead by vague statements. I asked leading questions that walked her in a corner with her COMPANY ANSWERS that finally left her with a final either yes or no answer that would acknowledge how IPL SERVES ONLY THEMSELVES AND NOT US THE CUSTOMERS! That s when she hung up on me!
My initial call (5 days previous) was about CUSTOMER SERVICE as my service was disconnected, the bill paid and service reconnected (all by the push of a computer key stroke in their offices as I have a special electronic system hooked up to my meter that disconnects the meter electronically) all within one hour. The problem arose when they sent a tech to my house to put a note on the door telling me my power was disconnected; AFTER I HAD ALREADY PAID THE BILL AND POWER RESTORED. The note said I was being CHARGED a fee for this SERVICE . IPL actually had an option listed on the paper to tell me it s GOING to be disconnected if I don t pay (a listed amount) in the next 24hrs. So my question was why didn t IPL use that option thusly saving me all the disconnecting issues including an additional deposit and $60 fee for the tech coming out for the disconnect! She did slip and say IPL has to pay for that service (meaning they can t charge me). They seem to care about themselves paying for something. Though they don t care that WE pay when a tech is sent out for the disconnect notice even after the fact and they ve been paid so I PAID FOR HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
But according to all the 1 star (because they don t allow 0 star) reviews IPL doesn t care and will do nothing for a better image. Because it s all about making money and being profitable so they can continue to earn their oversized paycheck.
