Where to start. My family and I sat down hungry and were looking at a menu with no theme and that had very sparse options. We ended up ordering ham and cheese croquets and fried fish with fries on the side. Then when the food came there were many surprises.
1. Our fries were served in what looked like a dog bowl and were not even the traditional Belgian fries
2. The ham and cheese croquets didn t even have ham! They were just salty nuggets of fry oil and cheese.
3. When we asked for some ketchup to go with the fries the waiter went over to a cabinet and brought out a little plastic container that you d find at a takeout fast food restaurant and then said if you need more ask .
As well as these disappointments we found the food way too overpriced. I have read in multiple other reviews of this establishment that you are expensive because you only use fresh ingredients and are at the same pricing rates as the neighboring restaurants. I could disagree. In the last three days we went to two other restaurants (Ellis Gourmet Burgers and Poules Moules) and both of them were better as well as cheaper and at higher quality. Arguably the service was good and the waiter was friendly, as well as the fact that the location is very nice, but I do not believe that can make up for the lack of professionalism through the food. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants high quality food.
