My Yamaha AV receiver still under warranty was shutting down. Yamaha recommended United Radio (Syracuse, NY). I sent the receiver (Yamaha RX-V681) via UPS (Yamaha supplied the prepaid shipping label). United emailed me receipt of the unit one day after it arrived there. Thereafter, they emailed me their diagnosis, then when they ordered the part (transformer). They said "most repair part orders arrive in 7-10 days," but three days later I got an email that the repair was done. Next day, they sent me the UPS tracking number. All told and this was around New Years day unit arrived 7 days after I sent it to them.
So far, the receiver is fully operational. I could not expect or ask for better communication and service.
