Sufficient, conceited, bombastic Anne-Sophie PIC's new kitchen!
To do "international" she forgot the French flavors!
Yesterday, there were four of us to spend with her in Valence, a hateful moment.
My friends didn't like it, I hated it!
Apart from the tastefully designed frame, everything else was to be avoided.
The passage to table was, in fact, a painful moment; a totally disappointed expectation; a betrayed hope!
The humor was not enough when we were presented with an oyster all alone (without its shell: yes!) Which waited on its plate for us to eat: torture!
And the sauces, sour, sour or even indigestible!
We went from the stage of disappointment to that of anger: irritating to wait for something that could satisfy our taste buds! But nothing, nothing came!
The incomprehensible verbiage, learned by heart from the young waiters, did not help matters.
The sommelier, meanwhile, awaiting retirement, was appalling in his choices: red wine to accompany a fish Grandiose!
We waited ... we waited until dessert: mine was totally tasteless ... yet an announced mixture of salty, sweet but without real taste and which ends up prolonging this calamitous, unspeakable meal, unworthy, in any case, of a starred table .

What misery ! Wanting a certain creativity at all costs, we get lost in the meanders of inept sophistication and we forget that true creation comes through simplicity.

Maison PIC, you have become, for me, the dishonor of French gastronomy.
