There are more efficient options in this area. I had a back injury that required an ambulance one night a few months ago. Ended up just being a pulled muscle that wouldn't relax. I walked out of the ER a couple hours later.
My complaints: Only one person in the ER greeted us with their name. I was charged over $6000 for basically an ambulance ride and some pain meds. (Just the ER room was $3000) Current insurance is a waste so all of this was out of pocket.
Praises: The ambulance crew were very courteous.
