I wish I could give this place less than 1 star, for starters. Talk about a nightmare scenario in the midst of COVID-19! I do not know why on earth people rave about this place. Probably because it's considered "cool" for a night out of drinking in this rural area of NJ with not much to do otherwise. God people are desperate; especially the ones who gravitate to this overrated bar. Anyways, as a healthcare worker on the frontlines, I decided to grab food and drinks with my mom after a beach trip one day (since outdoor dining in NJ is now permitted). However, last i checked Murphy authorized outdoor dining to resume SAFELY, with strict social distancing measures implemented to help slow the spread. Yea ok. Not here! So, you guys operate by having customers stand in line waiting for drinks? I stood there in line, mask on of course, however the guy in front of me and back lacked this basic and considerate protection themselves. Then, i place my order after standing there for 30 minutes, paying an absurdly high price, and read over the sign that said "bar food available here." Where? Menus?? Waitors?? None in sight my friends!! So basically, have people get drunk in the hot sun (outdoor tables had no umbrellas), do not provide/offer water&food, all the while possibly circulating amongst a deadly virus. Bc yes, strong possibility of that at this joint folks. I would never come back here nor give you my business ever again, and i'll continually spread the word of what has been going on here. Shame on you! Honestly people, just keep staying home. Do your takeout thing at home with to-go food& drinks...much safer and more importantly to some, you'll save your money during our current economic recession.
