I had my home built by Jayman and I went with Gienow windows. Now years later before my 25 year warranty is to expire they do not warranty the windows or original labor. They were bought by Plygem and this company too declined to warranty. The windows have always been cold and let cold air in. Upon removing the window trim I see why. They did not reinstall the vapor barrier or seal it back properly and just pushed in some pink fiberglass insulation around some of the perimeter. Their windows leak and have condensation too. Yet both these companies now back step and state they only warrantied some parts of the window? lol Any excuse not to be accountable. I also tried to get parts for my window and was told by their parts department to go to chinook glass as they do not have parts for my windows anymore. I advise anyone do not use these two companies find a more reputable company that stands behind an actual 25 year warranty and not just claim they do.
