I have a friend who recently purchased a dress from Vera's. They advised her to order 2 sizes larger than her usual. When she picked up the dress, it was so big, they had to hold it together in the back so she could get a visual of what it "should" look like "after" alterations. When she took it to be altered, they had to completely dismantle the dress and re-make it which cost her 1/2 of what the dress cost when she purchased it. The dress still doesn't fit appropriately and the wedding is next weekend. To spend nearly $2000 on a dress and then have this happen - HORRIBLE!
