Michael Mecherikoff Review of Hyatt Regency Denver at Colora...

Customer Service
My wife and I stayed at the hotel last night. Prior to check-in, the hotel emailed, asking if we'd like to request a certain room or anything else. I requested a room on the highest floor available with a great view; they put us on the 33rd floor with a view of both the mountains and the city. Because it was my wife's birthday, they comped our parking in their garage.
Sleep
We both had trouble sleeping in the bed. It was quite soft, but not terribly supportive, with enormous pillows. Perhaps that's just what most guests like.
The Environment
The hotel does small things to support the environment. During our brief stay, we noticed the container for recycling, and that it's within the trash can, which discourages trash while encouraging recycling. We also noticed the sign indicating that linen laundering happens every two days, cutting in half the hotel's need for resources for laundry. That the hotel uses a reusable liner in the bathroom trash can probably keeps thousands of barely-used trash liners out of landfills over time. Last, many hotels provide Keurig machines in rooms, and we appreciate that this hotel has avoided them, keeping thousands of K-cups out of landfills.
Upon leaving, we noticed a small sign listing items that the hotel provides free during the stay, including robes, phone chargers, and a dozen other items. There are plenty of hotels in Denver, and we're thankful to have chosen this one.
