A friend wrangled me into going again. I must say it was a very much improved visit. I forgot my servers name, he was wearing a jersey with arm tattoos. Service was awesome! Meat seemed better than the last time I went. The live music was nice as well. Overall, I wish this was my experience the first time I dined here. Not sure if there is new management or what but very much improved.

So I'm just going to begin by saying, the meat and service was amazing. The salad bar was pretty mediocre but but the meat was delicious.

Now my issue. Apparently this restaurant applies an autogratuity to tables of six or more. Originally our reservation was for six but went down to five. We noticed the 18% gratuity after we paid our check and had originally planned on leaving 20% in cash for our server. Neither the server or host (who is the GM) notified us of this charge.

When I go up to the GM to discuss the issue, he gave me a condescending tone and told me not to blame the server and that it was basically our fault because our party was smaller and that the table we sat at automatically has gratuity on it. As a guest it is not my responsibility to instruct my server with how to charge me. The GM is very unapproachable and rude. We easily were going to leave a 38% tip for our server without knowing. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SNEAKY ESTABLISHMENT. BEWARE THE 18% GRATUITY BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT LET YOU KNOW.
