I bought a cordless vacuum cleaner in May 2019 and was reassured about the quality because it carried a 3 year warranty. It was a very efficient machine until early this year when the battery died. I spoke to LIDL hq who said that the guarantee was only valid for 1 year but there was a warranty for 3 years held by another company. When I eventually got through to this warranty company I was told that they had none of the batteries meantime and I should phone next week. Well I have phoned at least every 10 days since to be told they still have no batteries. This since February.
I have now purchased a cordless cleaner from Curry and am requesting a refund of the cost of the LIDL one.
