We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge. It was the off-season so the tram was closed. I want to come back in the summer to check it out.

Staff were all super friendly, and the food in the restaurant was surprisingly good. Beautiful area with tons of wildlife, practically tripped over deer anywhere you turned.

Building is a little dated, but that was part of the charm. Not so great was being able to hear other rooms and the hallway from inside your room but it wasn't terrible.

Lots of folks there on Valentine's weekend who seemed like this had been their tradition for years.

We had our 3 year old daughter with us and some anonymous patron in the restaurant covered our breakfast for us. Never had that happen before, I was very touched.
