Pia Pabst Review of Cadburys

I love Cadbury chocolate, so it was a must to visit the Cadbury World. But unfortunately we went on a school holiday which we didn't know because we came from abroad. The exhibition was completely sold out and way too full! Many families and children and way too loud (of course hence the children being there). They should have reduced the visitor numbers by not selling so many online tickets! Anyway, the exhibition itself was in parts interesting by presenting basic facts about the process of making chocolate. But there was just not enough to see when it came to the actual chocolate fabrication and how they work with it. When walking through the factory one got free samples of chocolate which I liked, of course (who doesn't). Apart from that, everything else cost extra, like the photo they take of you. Long queuing times on the 2nd floor, the floor itself was not interesting for us at all because it was mostly fun stuff for the kids.
We also went to the cafe but had to queue there, too. There was not enough staff for the amount of people, pricey food, and long waiting times.
But the shop was actually nice. You can buy a lot of products cheeply and in bulk. Shop was well maintained and cashiers were super friendly.
Would come back here just for the shop.
