NUCLEAR MEDICINE PROCEDURE DEPARTMENT!

NUCLEAR MEDICINE PROCEDURE DEPARTMENT!
My family and I drove on Sunday (11/01/2020) 210 miles (4hrs), stayed the night at a Hotel for my appointment that was scheduled since October 22, 2020. My appointment was for Nov. 2, 2020 & Nov. 3rd @7:30am. When we finally settled in the room I went through the Stanford Health Care app and that s when I discovered my appointment had been moved to November 5th!
I still presented myself to my appointment as previously scheduled and let the receptionist know when I seen the change and that I was never called. She made her calls but of course she said there s a patient here she thought her appointment was for today not for Nov. 5th after she hung up she told me that the person she spoke to knew exactly who she was talking about and told her to relay the message that their department does not do the two day iodine CT procedures on Monday s only on Thursday and Friday s. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS HAPPENED TO ME!! I TOOK TIME OFF WORK, MY HUSBAND AS WELL TO DRIVE ME UP THERE AND IT DISRUPTED MY CHILDREN'S ONLINE EDUCATION! THE TIME AND MONEY WE LOST AND THE AUDACITY OF THEM TO ASK IF I COULD RETURN ON THURSDAY FOR THE APPOINTMENT! THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE EVER HAPPENED!! I PRAY TO GOD THAT THE STAFF IN THIS DEPARTMENT NOT DO THIS TO SOMEONE ELSE! ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE THAT HAVE TO TRAVEL DAY(S) PRIOR AND ARE ON A LIMITED BUDGET!!
