I just had a wonderful dinner at this resteraunt with a few friends of mine. To start off with, the building has a very upscale and clean feel to it. Not to mention, the view across Dyess Inlet is also very nice. It was somewhat crowded when we arrived, but we were seated in a reasonable amount of time and the rest of the evening was great. Our server, Mallory, was very accommodating, and also just seemed like a very nice and cheerful person in general.
The high quality of the food really stood out as well. My lentil soup was perfectly seasoned, and the tandoori spiced chicken I got as my entree was absolutely delicious. The veggies that came on the side tasted very fresh, and all the ingredients seemed very high quality. I plan to order the creole spice rubbed pork chop next time I go. My friend let me try some of his and it was honest to God the best pork chop I have ever had. I never even knew I liked pork chops that much. For dessert, I had the raspberry panna cotta. It was small but tasty, and a nice finish to the meal. Their drink menu also has several local options. The Finn Farmstead Currant Cider was my favorite and definitely worth a try.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and much more than I expected from such an ambitious new business. Highly recommend!
