Ambit S/W is very small scale company. Although they work on very good projects and tech. But there are many reasons you should not join this company. Except if you are not getting any job. Reasons are as below. 1) There is no work life balance, you need to work more apart from your working hours. But in returns you will not get any appreciation but the blame if anything went wrong. 2) Regarding appraisals , they have a cycle in July. But as soon as June started they usually show all your bad work only from last year. Usually they fire some leads/test engg. and developer saying that company and the project you were working on was not going good. This exercise is made to create fear for others if they ask for appraisals they will also get fire. 3) They usually not give hike to 80% people saying any nonsense reasons. 4) One thing is sure you cannot argue with Rakhi Ramaiya as she will be looking for all appraisals. She is so rude and no listening kind of person. She never listen for anything. 5) The height is that this year they have cut down Diwali, Cristmas, 1st Jan holidays also. They have only 4 leaves per calendar. They want you to use your leaves and not the company leave. So they don't want to pay a day's pay to anyone. 6) They have all policies benefits to company only and are variable as per company benefits. Like this year they created new policy you cannot use SL and CL together for any reason. 7) Many joined from very small company and left within a month seeing this nonsense. 8) For married girls this is the worst company to join. Usually if you got pregnant in this company they will harass you till you leave your job. They don't want to pay for your ML that's the reason. 9) Last year for appraisals they ask people that they will pay partial amount as per appraisal till Dec and will pay full after that, but that never happened. 10) This year also people haven't got their appraisals , no matter how hard they have been working. 11) Even who got completed 1 year before July, company asked them wait for more 1 year for appraisals.

Don't always look for company benefits and making money. Take care of your employees as because of them you are.
