The experience music project, or EMP, is a Local music museum. Fun and inviting place to explore the history and culture of music. The EMP museum has a lot to offer. I recommend anyone check it out, especially if your visiting Seattle.

Music museums are quite rare and when this was first built I visited the museum, but did not find it that engaging or entertaining. Yet, after revisiting the museum after roughly a decade, I have formed a new appreciation.

The museum has branched out to have "feature" exhibits aside from music. Although, the music staples, such as Jimi Hendrix, will more than likely still be represented--as they should--they now do different exhibits throughout the year. During my visit, Star Trek , Sci-Fi and Fantasy sections were open to peruse. I was not disappointed.

My only complaint, although I really enjoy this place is the cost.
