Rich Halkyard Review of Water's Edge Resort & Spa

They should call this place The Gates of Hell, not The Water's Edge.
I stayed in room 339. The air handler ran all night and when the fan kicked on it sounded like a chopper was landing on the roof. Needless to say, I got no sleep. At 730 am, I called the Front Desk and asked for the manager. There was no manager on duty. I asked Cassandra to come up to my room to witness the noise - no; I was invited to come to the front desk. So, I put my clothes on and walked down.
I was told that no one has ever complained and that if I came down DURING THE NIGHT they would have changed rooms - really, at 2 AM.
After a $30 reduction (not the point), I returned to the room from hell.
I went to shave and the sink stopper came up in my hand - so much for their advertised attempt to save the resources of the planet.
I shower/tub control didn't work. I had go through the cold water in order to turn the water off.
Ok. But, wait, there's more.
I went to sit in the desk chair to tie my shoes and CRACK! The chair broke.
I couldn't wait to leave!!!
