The Arboretum was nice, but I do not think it was worth the $15.00 entrance fee. With the exception of the onsite staff of 12, this park (for lack of a better term) is self sustaining. You enter at a guard booth who collects the fee for each person in the vehicle. You'll get a receipt and a pocket size map to guide you. You self park and walk to the parts that interest you more. For me, it was the canopy walk and the tower. Going in late October, the prices should have been reduced. There was little to no color left in the tree as it was after a strong rain and after the season. The main purpose was to see the colorful leaves of Autumn, but I did not get to see too much. Also, the tower is not handicapped accessible. With the amount of money they get from donors, they can easily put in an elevator designed for a wheelchair next to the tower.
