I had to go to the dental surgeon twice to get wisdom teeth out. Both times the same assistant and dental surgeon. The assistant reassured me as much as possible by just chatting, indicating when the anesthetic came and between asking if it was going. She also told when the molars were out and when they were going to attach. The oral surgeon himself was not such a talker, but I did not mind that as much as he had to do his job. Well had a while suffered from my mouth, but that was to be expected. In both cases I could also contact me for about a week after I called for an appointment, which I also really liked.
