Josh Lyons Review of Schomp BMW

Wife bought a new car from them a little over a month ago. 2nd key fob was inoperable. No big deal we thought.
She scheduled her car to have windows tinted. They told us it would be 4 hours and we could pick it back up. We dropped it off on the scheduled Saturday expecting to kill time in town with our kids and pick the car up later that day. We re then told nobody was there on the weekends to install tint and it wouldn t be until
The following Tuesday till it was done along with the key fixed. They didn t have any loaner cars so we opted to deal without a car for a couple days.
Tint was completed on Tuesday as expected but they didn t even bother to try working on the key fob till after tint was done.
It was clear the fob itself needed replaced as while we were discussing our plan on Saturday, a guy tested it and it showed all the cars details in it and it should be working.
So they needed to order a new fob. They still wanted to keep the car a few more days. This wouldn t be such a big deal for a couple days as we had agreed on, but now with the kids on summer break, and my wife being 6 months pregnant, and the fact that we live 20 minutes to the nearest town, this was quickly becoming very frustrating.
Finally after a harsh phone call with the general manager, they delivered the car to our home a week after we originally dropped it off.
We were told the new key was being over nighted to them and expected the next day (Friday). I told them we would not be bringing the car to them as we have already been inconvenienced enough. They agreed to mail is the key and they would then call to schedule a tech to come out and program the key.
Now almost two weeks later, we have heard nothing. A phone call to the service advisor we were working with yields only a voicemail box and still has not returned our calls.
It s a shame this is the only dealer in denver to work with because we certainly wouldn t come to them by choice.
They are quick to sell you a car and that process is okay, but when it comes to service, it s seriously lacking. And in our experience has always been lacking.
