It might look like I give more cons than pros but I can say we loved the vacation, it's easier to note some of the negatives sometimes but the positives outweighed them. We loved our time at Montego Bay and booked for the next year. The best place for a honeymoon. Perfect for military/first responders with the 10% discount.

Some Pros:
-Extremely friendly staff (once in a while there would be one or two who were slightly rude but never to a point where it bothered me).
-Free Wi-Fi throughout resort, the only place I seemed to lose connection was the bathroom...
-Several restaurants were waterside so you could watch the sunset while you ate dinner most of the time
-You do not need a butler, there are several bars and several restaurants, we never once felt like we should have gotten a butler
-With as many bars as there are you will never feel like you cant get a drink, the staff is hard working and will get you a drink within two minutes
-All of the restaurants except for the Italian one. The steak house was amazing, best food on the resort. Tokyo Jos was also another favorite, my wife isnt a fan of Asian foods but she absolutely loved it.
-Beach Activities; volleyball, dancing, etc. They have newspapers given to your room each morning and have activity times to get more people together, volleyball was always fun.
-Night Activities, they had several events going on in the lobby each night. Dancing, music, shows, etc.
-The best ocean water I've ever swam in.

Some Cons:
-Airport touches resort, its EXTREMELY loud during the day. It's not a super active airport so give or take 10-20 flights and hour. It stops around sunset so it doesnt bother you during the night.
-The "Fancy" Italian restaurant, great view and my steak was great. My wife got a lasagna and we split calamari and meatballs. The calamari was pretty much just breading. The lasagna and meatballs? I'm pretty sure it was chef boyardee on a plate... not good whatsoever.
-Room TV channels... I know, it's a vacation you dont go to watch TV, personally I love laying in bed and watching a short show or movie before getting to sleep. There are about 10 news channels, 10 sports channels, 5 religious channels, 5 kids channels, and that's it... if you're looking for a movie or show good luck. I wish I had brought a laptop to watch netflix.
-Swimming area in ocean is extremely restricted. There is a roped off box about 50 yards in length and only goes out to about 4 to 5 feet deep
-Bathroom has permanently opened window Louvres, I could hear people walking by the bathroom all the time. I'm sure theres a reason behind it but it makes me uncomfortable to use the bathroom with people hearing everything I do.
-The staff running the off-site excursion, I dont remember the female I spoke with but we decided to do the ATV ride, I mentioned it to the employee and before she said anything she picked up the phone and began speaking to someone else, she then asks me what day I would like, I reply and she prints off a ticket and says it will be billed to my room. I basically didnt get a word in and she already completed the ticket. I asked her if we needed close to shoes, she replied no and that sandals were fine, we get to the excursion and they forced us to buy pairs of water sneakers ($20 a pair)...
-Prices at the Gift shop...good luck buying most items, they are EXPENSIVE. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying as much as I am for the resort I wont be paying almost $30 for a small can of sunscreen, $90 for a button down shirt...

A Pro and Con at the same time:
-Off-Site excursions, we did the Dolphin swimming and ATV ride, both of which were awesome! They are extremely expensive though, for instance dolphin swim was $330 for me and my wife, plus you cant use your phone to take pictures and you have to buy their pictures which was about $40 a picture. All of the employees say "if you have had a good time your appreciation can be shown with tipping."(These are not owned by Sandals, so I am not using this to influence my rating of the resort)
