I have never been so poorly treated anywhere. My mortgage app was sent over by a loan broker for review by Regent. First I receive an email giving excuses about being short handed and telling me it will be 2 weeks before they can look at it. Next I receive an email requesting all the same docs that were in the package from the broker. I called the loan officer to see what he actually needed but have never received a return call. I sent all the docs again. Then I receive an email declining to do the loan. They never even had the courtesy to return my call or discuss my app on the phone. I was very disappointed as all their reviews were great.
I wrote this review as a negative and caught the attention of others at the bank. I received a phone call and a chance for a meeting in person. The broker who sent over the loan docs really made a hash of it. They had bad info and some incorrect info and I was able to communicate with loan officer Michael Gephart directly. He has taken the ball and run with it and is working hard to get this done. Michael is great to work with and is making the process easy. The CEO of the bank even reached out via email to see if I was being taken care of. Never had that happen before in the 80+ mortgage loans to which I have been a party. This is a Great bank that is interested in relationships and will fix something if they don't get it right the first time. Thanks to Bruce Adkins, Michael Gephart and Sean Kouplen for being willing to give me a fair hearing and a fair shot at this deal. I look forward to a long and productive relationship.
