I have used Carmel for many years and was always for giving them business and overall very nice people. Yesterday, I ordered a car to pick me up at JFK. My flight was delayed 6 hours and when I arrived at midnight, I called and told them I was waiting and the dispatcher said a car was on the way. I waited 20 minutes and called and they said the car was on the way, Then about 10 minutes later they called me and said my reservation was canceled because there were no more cars available. This left me, my wife, and 2 kids stranded at JFK at 12:30 AM. WTF??? I was shocked. We ended up getting an Uber and paid more, but to leave me stranded is shameful!!!! I will never use Carmel again!!! And you should not use them as well. Totally and completely unprofessional. I have used them for at least 5 years, and will never ever use them again!!!
