A month ago, we went to this dealership because I'd seen a truck on line that I wanted to buy, and I was absolutely ready to buy it. The salesman was extremely nice, and very knowledgeable. The price was great, but they low balled me on my trade-in, and I did not like that at all. When I offered to give them $6,000 down, instead of trading, it looked like the deal was going to go well. That is, until the sales manager got involved. He told me that if I did not trade, for what I though was a low ball offer, I would lose the $1000 rebate for trade incentive. That had not been mentioned before. Essentially, without my trade, the truck would cost me an extra $1000. I walked away from the deal, very disappointed, but not as disappointed as the salesman. He called a day later to tell me that they'd be able to work out something to lower to cost, but it was too late. You only get one chance for a first impression. I found another truck to buy the next day, on line, at another dealership, nearby, and they lost an easy sale. I did not run into the same problem there, and I picked up my new truck 2 days later.
