Anyone saying OSVS is a money oriented place clear...

Anyone saying OSVS is a money oriented place clearly did not visit the correct place. I had to go this morning when my dog ingested an entire container of rat poison. Coming from westerly and knowing time was a huge factor in saving my dogs life, I called prior to arriving since all other vets around had answering services. I got to the front desk and said I was there because my dog ate the rat poison and the man at the front desk immediately got on the phone calling for a tech to get my dog and requested to immediately start treatment. I signed forms saying they can do just about anything to save her. Sitting in the reception area I noticed pets and pet parents in and out very quickly and all treated with respect and understanding. I was a mess, crying and worried and the workers came out frequently, updating me on how my dog was doing, from the second I walked in the door I knew my dog was in the best hands possible. within an hour I met with the doctor and was given a few options on how to treat my dog.(I chose the most expensive option) Once we decided, they brought back my dog and gave us instructions on what to look for along with her medication. Then we walked to the desk for the bill. I expected the bill to be extremely high. (considering it was a 24 hour vet, an emergency, they had to give meds to induce vomiting, monitor her, do an exam, give her the first day of her meds as an injection, the medication itself, and the doctors visit) And when it was all said and done the bill was under $200. There is no where that would come close to the care my dog and myself got especially along with the price. Thank you OSVS for truly saving my baby.
