I recently bought a premium record player at Stassen. They were able to take something away from the prize, which eventually made me decide to buy the record player from them. During your visit (in addition to pie and coffee), they make you feel good with a tour of their beautiful listening castle. If you see all that expensive stuff, buying a record player of 1300 euros seems like a bargain. They are smart. Anyway, it is ultimately about the product. And that turned out not to be right after the installation at home. The tone arm seemed defective. Immediately made mention of it and could come back immediately. This was checked on the spot and it indeed turned out to be a defect in the cabling of the tone arm. I immediately got a new one. Everything installed at home and it worked properly. After turning records for a few days and some 'tweak' work, I found the needle a bit suspiciously pulling to the left. Further inspection revealed that the needle did not appear to be completely straight in the cantilever. Further internet research taught me that this was not the intention. I wasn't sure if there was a defect (I didn't hear it right away during playback), but I wasn't comfortable with it. I then had a mail conversation with Stassen about this and asked if I can exchange the needle. That was no problem at all. Within 2 days I had a new needle, which indeed turns out to be a judge. Conclusion: top service and great price. A company that I will certainly recommend.
