I recently had the opportunity to engage with Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition (SVTC) and it was an overall average experience. Their website, svtc.org, provided a good amount of information about their work on environmental issues. The organization seems to be doing important work in holding tech companies accountable for their toxic waste and pollution. However, I found some of their messaging to be too sensationalized and lacking in nuance. It would be great if they could provide more balanced and evidence-based information to support their claims. Overall, SVTC is a good resource for those looking to learn about the negative impacts of the tech industry on the environment.
