I have never seen such an unscrupulous Real Estate office in my life. We looked at one of their listings and wrote and offer. We gave a good faith escrow deposit on the home. We didn't have a whole lot of cash to deal with until our down payment comes in April. The sellers accepted the offer which was a full price offer. They wanted us to put up $1000 escrow to accept the offer. We could come up with a total of $500 and the Broker for this firm said no it had to be $1000. They thought we were so desperate we would borrow money for the escrow. We really wanted the house and had already started the process with our mortgage bank. WE were prequalified so this was a good offer. The kept pressuring us with the house has been shown many times. Well it had only been on the market 2 days so that is probably not true regardless they only had one offer. Ours. So they can keep the house. We won't deal with unscrupulous Realtors.
