Im 35 years old, actively addicted to opiates and a cornucopia of other chemicals for as long back as memory can safely stretch... have experienced several different outpatient settings.. Im aware that many things are circumstantial, and most would probably argue that any outpatient would have been the right one when the time came. I can't say that because that was not the case.. What I can say is that it is the first time I have worked with an outpatient and truly felt that the people I worked with were working with me with the intention of helping as much as they are capable.. Thats not to say that I don't have my doubts, as a natural born sceptic nothing save very little has completely cleared my suspicions.. none the less Im grateful that this place exists at this point in time, and that our paths have converged.
