My son and I drove to Stucky Farm today to pick apples. I have been taking my four children there for apples and pumpkins for several years. We intended to pick apples and buy cider and other items in the store. However, it was a Saturday designated as a "Festival Day" and there was an admission fee to have access to the farm. I explained that we only wanted to pick apples and was directed to speak to someone in charge. I again explained that I only wanted to pick apples, and had driven a distance to get there, would it be possible to not pay the admission fee. The answer was a rude "absolutely not." I could buy apples in the store, visit during the week or pay the admission fee. I was so angry that we left, buying absolutely nothing. I will never return again. I will take my business to TUTTLES in McCordsville. Sadly, she clearly did not care about me as a customer and had many people willing to pay her admission fee.
