Umaid Bhavan Palace lives upto it's reputation and then some.

We loved the experience from walking into the door from warm welcome (Warm smiles and welcome by Manveer made us feel at home immediately and Respect and Love from staff captured our hearts), to toys for our children to "in Room" check in to offering yoghurt before departing (Took me right back to my childhood and nani's house-we were all emotional). Our children are born and brought up in USA and we make a conscious effort to bring them to india and expose them to indian culture.

Staff at restaurant on breakfast took special care of us and packed breakfast for kids as we had a sight seeing of city planned on day. Mr. Jabar , Kaushik and Narendar took special care of us that filled our mornings to a great start.

Musicians that played Santoor and Tabla during breakfast were amazing and better than any CDs we hear generally.

We had missed the tour of the palace in the evening and the front desk staff was gracious enough to conduct a special personal tour of the palace just for our family.

Our 12 year old daughter and 6 year old son both loved the property, staff, food, and attention they received.

Umaid Bhavan Palace was one of the highlights and topics of our daughter's essay and presentation to her class in USA.

We loved every aspect and will return again"
