OK first let me say that I am just reviewing Dr. Levine's (Behavior) portion of this hospital. I would say that the hospital looks clean and everyone else here that I have dealt with has been very nice and helpful...however...Dr. Levine and her assistant Donna are just plain rude and unhelpful. Long story short, my cat stresses very easily and has been on fluoxitine (Prozac) for the past year. It has helped him tremendously.

For the past year I would start running low on pills and call the pharmacy to renew the script. No problems. Last week we started running low on his meds, so I called the CVS to renew it. They had to call Dr Levine to get authorization to renew. Everyday I would call the pharmacy and the meds would not be ready so after a week, I call Ms. Donna. She tells me that I haven't been in to see Dr. Levine in over a year and that the only way she will refill the script is if we go in and have our cat evaluated again...to the tune of $400. Now keep in mind that we already had to pay $400 last year to get the prescription. No one told us that we would have to bring him in to renew his prescription, and I certainly wouldn't have waited until the meds were almost out to make the appointment. Furthermore, "Dr" Levine's office never contacted me to tell me that they were not going to renew the prescription. Donna told me that usually people call when their pet's meds run out.

So now I am left scrambling to find a doctor that will fill my cats prescription and not charge me $400 to do so. Thanks a lot Dr. Levine. You are obviously an animal lover. I'm not so sure sarcasm translates well in type.
