After Slavyan overheard us speaking our language in a restaurant, one that he speaks as well, he invited us to join him on the Sofia Jewish Tour. Slavyan was very friendly, entertaining and professional, and has a lot of knowledge about the city and its history. We all had a great time and had a few laughs during the tour, and Slavyan was great at conveying the soul of Sofia into this tour.

Through SmartTrans.bg , Slavyan offered tours of Plovdiv, The 7 Rila Lakes and the Rila Monastery. If we were to have time in Bulgaria, we would have joined Slavyan on one of these tours. I very much recommend Slavyan as a tour guide, if you are planning on visiting these places!

We joined Boyan on the Sofia free tour right after that. We enjoyed Boyan's stories and portrayal of the city, and were glad we had the chance to see many of Sofia's main tourist attractions and hear about their stories thanks to this tour. Everything was very informative and we had fun with his "trivia" questions throughout the tour. I think Boyan is a great tour guide!
