Ethically for me a smelly company. I remember at the time KBC, like most other banks went bust, KBC seem to have done some amazingly funny tricks with their board of directors and transferred them to KBC Securities; EC/ECB told to reduce the high number of board of directors.
FYI this you can find this funny transfer in the annual report of KBC Securities available on the website of the Belgian Central Bank for free.
