Matthew LaBelle Review of Harley-Davidson of Glendale
My shocks failed on a cross-country ride. I called...
My shocks failed on a cross-country ride. I called and spoke with Service. They didn't have the shocks I needed in stock, and told me the other dealerships in California that had them. I explained that I was a traveller and that I couldn't "call around" to look for shocks. I suggested that maybe since he had access to the Harley database, that he could call around and get the shocks from somewhere else. They said that he couldn't do that, but said that I could get my bike serviced when I came to town on a 'first come, first served' basis, as long as I found my own shocks to get installed.
So I went to another Harley in the area and they had a couple options of shocks available when I arrived, and they got them installed immediately. Done and back on the road.
