I decided to visit the museum in a cloudy and rainy day, and so I did: the ticket was free (student ticket) and the exhibition was really beautiful. From old paintings to sculptures and modern art, the museum has a very interesting collection based on the history of Groningen. There are even some works of art by very famous artists like Van Gogh, but they are not so easy to spot: just read the labels!
