On Sunday, 11/15 my 6 yr old son was assaulted by the manager, Tom F. He was looking at the bottles on the patio railings 10 feet from us while we were waiting for the check. He did touch but wasn't being reckless in the least. The manager, in full view of my family and three other families grabbed my son, twisted his arm as he removed it and my kid, burst into screams from pain. Most kids, when scolded, will hold onto their tears until they get to mom or dad. My kid's cries were immediate. If you have kids you know what I'm saying.
When I approached the manager, I said that his actions were inexcusable. He denied it completely. I mentioned that there were three other families that saw it and I wanted to speak with someone else. I asked for his name and the owners name. He said his name was Tom. When I asked for his last name he said he was the only Tom. When I asked again, reminding him that denying me his name only made things worse, he said his name was "Tom F" - is this guy really trying to limit his liability by not giving me his full name?
Sad. My kid can take it. The question is, does this manager get to keep his job and do this again to someone else's kid?
David: A law suite for foreign objects in food could cost tens of thousands. How much would it cost you if someone sued for assaulting their little boy? Is it worth keeping Tom F for that kind of risk?
