I'll start with the positive. Lovely rooms, exceptional customer service and fronts the best beach on the island.
The bad news is the construction noise is still happening and it will likely continue for some time. The ocean front building that used to be apart of the hotel has been sold for future private condominiums. I'm sitting right now on our lanai at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening and they are still pounding, drilling and running large equipment. I have been told this construction will take 1-2 years. If you want tranquility and the peace of the islands this is not the best choice for 2018-2019.
