Arrived Mumbai from Singapore by Air India Express...

Arrived Mumbai from Singapore by Air India Express Vande Bharat Mission flight on 22/Jul/2020. After exit from aero bridge, all passengers submitted/endorsed their self declaration forms, downloaded Aarogya Setu app, and proceeded to the immigration and customs. It was uneventful and straight forward. After customs, passengers were directed to the exit (even those who had confirmed onward flight connections). At the exit, quite a number of manned counters were placed. 2 counters were designated for other states (only for Goa, Gujarat and Telangana). The p.i.c. advised that above 3 states can opt for for one of the 2 options. 1) Quarantine in Mumbai hotel for 7 days, or 2)Hire a road taxi and proceed to your destination. Passengers from all other states have to proceed to hotel quarantine in Mumbai. Above SOP was valid on 23/Jul/2020.
Advice to people opting for road taxi during the pandemic:
a) Finalize complete route until destination, including total Kms and rate/Km. Taxi drivers tend to take a longer route by saying that contracted route is blocked.
b) Everyone should wear a face mask throughout the journey.
c) Open the windows slightly; A/C should be Off.
