This place is wonderful! Vera's was the *best* wedding dress shopping experience that I have had. The service was exceptional!
Abbey was the dress specialist that helped me during my appointment and she was fantastic. She listened very carefully and was very attentive to my thoughts, concerns, likes, and dislikes. She provided a great selection of dresses for me to try, which was really helpful to me because I was still really unsure about what style/silhouette to go with. One of the dresses she picked ended up being the one for me :)
The whole staff was overall very nice and accommodating, too. For the appointment me and my entourage got a private room where we could really relax with comfortable chairs and plenty of mirrors and lighting. They let us bring snacks and drinks (no red wine, for good reason!) and even gave us a little folding table when they noticed the endtable in the room wasn't enough for all our things. The whole place is well designed and really does feel like a "house" filled to the brim with bridal things. I was there on a Saturday and it felt lively and joyful in the rooms and around the halls. While we were there, Vera herself was walking around and she stopped by my room to say hello. She is a warm and wonderful person.
At the end of my appointment I still wasn't ready to commit to a single dress yet and they were all very pleasant and understanding about it. There was no pressure to make a decision right then and there, and they encouraged me to come back even just as a walk-in anytime I wanted to try on my top dress picks. I actually did this, several weeks later, and Claire helped me out. She was really great and there was no hassle at all. When I tried on the dress again and knew it was the one for me she was really quick to help me find a seamstress and walk me through the next steps. I'm just waiting for the dress to come in and I'm super excited!
I recommend this place to anyone getting married! A lovely place to help collect warm memories leading up to your big day.
